Strange opposition to Lockdown:
Shopkeepers sending Ladies Underwear to France's Prime Minister Jean Castex
Action Culotti, the organization that led
the protest, says that the government has kept the lounger store out of urgent
services, while classifying flower sellers, booksellers, hairdressers, etc. as
essential businesses. We oppose this discriminatory decision of the government.
Amidst the Coronavirus crisis, France's
Prime Minister Jean Castex is troubled by a strange problem these days. They
are getting Ladies Underwear through the mail everyday. For the past few days,
this trend is going on and the Prime Minister is not able to do anything he
wants. The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) receives a mail every day, in which
there are women's undergarments and a letter together. In this letter, there is
an appeal to the PM to open the market as soon as possible.
Lockdown is in many parts
According to a CNN report, the Prime
Minister is sending these underwear Lingerie Store Owners to Jean Castex, whose
outlets have been closed due to the epidemic. Explain that keeping in view the
increasing cases of Corona virus, strict lockdown has been imposed in many
parts of France. Not only has the government stopped people from leaving their
homes, but all the shops have been completely closed except the essential ones.
Lodgy store owners are angry with PM about this matter
This method of viral protest
This strange method of protest is going
viral on social media. Such pictures are being shared, in which women's
underwear is seen with a letter written to the French PM. In these letters,
Prime Minister Castex has demanded to open shops and outlets as soon as
possible. The protest is being led by an organization called Action Culottée.
200 Retailers Attended
Nathalie Paredes, owner of Sylvat
Lingerie Store in Leon, said that 200 retailers of Lonjari have participated in
our protests. Everyone has been asked to send women's underwear to the PM as a
protest. This means that a total of 200 panties have been sent to Jean Castex's
office so far. He further said that with every package, a letter is being sent
by the Culotti to the Prime Minister, asking him to end the lockdown so that
people do not have to face the economic crisis.
Government accused of discrimination
Action Qiloti states that the government
has kept the lounger store out of urgent services, while flower sellers,
booksellers, hairdressers and record shops have been classified as essential
businesses. Which is an injustice to us. It is a question of cleanliness and
safety of the people. We appeal to the government to either end the lockdown or
even consider the lounger stores to be a necessary business. Due to this unjust
decision of the government, the shopkeepers are suffering financial loss.
